About 5,000 finished pieces per order. Within one order you can split the quantity across sizes, rulings or page counts; share the breakdown and we quote each variant.

About 30 days from order confirmation and artwork approval. Very large or highly customised orders may need longer; we confirm the dispatch date with the quotation.

Our unit in Liluah, Howrah has a monthly production capacity of more than 500 tonnes of paper, so large seasonal and repeat orders can be scheduled.

Product type, size, number of pages, paper type and GSM, ruling, binding, cover material and printing, packing, quantity, and delivery location (or destination port for export).

Add about 30 days of production plus transit time to the date you need stock in your warehouse, and order before the peak so you are not competing for production slots. For New Year diaries, confirm by October or early November.

Yes. Distributors and brands can place repeat orders on the same approved specification, which keeps quality consistent batch to batch.

We work to the GSM you specify. As a guide, lighter paper suits rough and practice books, mid-weight suits everyday school and office notebooks, and heavier paper suits premium journals and drawing books. See our paper GSM guide.

Yes. Send us the sample or its specification sheet and we will produce to the same size, paper, ruling, page count and cover layout.

Indian buyers usually quote pages (both sides of a sheet), while many export buyers quote sheets or leaves. One sheet = two pages. Tell us which you mean and we will confirm on the quotation.

Yes. We are an OEM manufacturer and print covers, inner pages and packaging with your brand. See OEM and private label.

Most buyers supply print-ready artwork. If you only have a logo and a brief, tell us and we will discuss the options.

High-resolution print-ready files (PDF, AI or CDR) with fonts outlined and bleed included. We share the template size for your notebook before you finalise the design.

Yes. School name, logo, crest, timetable and information pages can be printed. See notebooks for schools.

A manufacturer. We run our own production unit at 266, GT Road, Liluah, Howrah, West Bengal. Buyers can visit by appointment.

We are ISO 9001:2015 certified, Udyam (MSME) registered, hold an IEC (Importer Exporter Code) for direct export, and operate a licensed factory. Ink Notebooks is a registered trademark. Copies are shared with buyers on request. See quality and certifications.

We check paper, ruling and print, page count, binding strength, trimming and packing counts against the approved sample before dispatch.

Tell us the exact requirement before ordering, and we will confirm clearly what we can and cannot provide for your order.

Notebook price depends on paper price and GSM, size, pages, binding, print colours, packing and quantity, and paper prices change through the year. A quotation for your exact specification is the only accurate price.

Since 22 September 2025, exercise books, graph books, laboratory notebooks and notebooks under HSN 4820 are Nil-rated. Registers, diaries and similar items are taxable. See our HSN code and GST guide.

Payment terms are agreed with each quotation, for domestic and export orders.

Usually, yes. Set-up, plate and machine make-ready costs are spread over more pieces, and paper can be bought in larger lots.

In bundles, shrink packs or corrugated cartons, with counts and labels as specified, so your warehouse can receive and dispatch easily.

Across India by road from Howrah, with quick reach to West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the Northeast, and overseas through Kolkata port.

We can arrange dispatch through transporters, or hand over to your nominated transporter. Freight is quoted separately.

Exercise books fall under tariff item 4820 20 00, and registers, notebooks and diaries under other items of heading 4820. Your customs broker confirms the final classification in your country.

Yes. Share the size, ruling, page count and cover layout used in your market, or send a sample.

Yes. Export orders can be made fully under your brand, including cartons and labels.
